General Plastic Extrusions is committed to food safety by providing protection from food borne illness caused by allergens in our facility.
90 % of allergic reactions come from the following allergens: Milk, Eggs, Fish, Shellfish, Tree Nut, Wheat, Peanuts, and Soybeans.
After reviewing the SDS library, it has been concluded that the products and materials used in the production of our food packaging products do not contain the above allergens. The packaging, printing supplies, and colorants used in the process also do not contain these items.
Incidental contact from the allergens is unlikely. Potential contamination is possible from personnel exposed to the allergens listed and handling the packaging. To prevent this, General Plastics has in place a Personnel Hygiene Program, including hand washing instructions and requirements.
