AVOX TBHQ (5580)
Avox™ TBHQ is used as an antioxidant in stabilizing various edible oils and food products. TBHQ prevents rancidity of animal fats and tropical oils. TBHQ is non-toxic in the necessary proportions and has excellent “carry-through” properties that enhance the shelf-life of baked foods. Further, the small quantities required make TBHQ a very economical product to use. Avox™ TBHQ is manufactured in conformity with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). It meets all FDA requirements with respect to food grade and is certified Kosher Pareve and Halal.
When stored in its original, unopened container at 35 - 65°F, this product has a recommended shelf-life of 24 months. Avoid exposure to extremely high or low temperatures. Store in dry environment in tightly-closed containers. It is advisable to retest functional parameters after 24 months to determine suitability of use.
