Carrot Granulate (20132 / 20178)

Carrot Granulate originates from carrots from the food industry. It’s a co-product released during the processing of food grade carrots. The carrots are washed or steam peeled and cut. The off-sized shapes or top and bottom pieces are separated and collected. Then sliced, air dried and ground over a 2mm sieve. Sustainability savings on carbon footprint, water footprint and land use compared with conventional alternatives. Environmental impact calculated through a LCA/EPD from “cradle-to-gate”.
