De-Stemmed Organic Chipotle Morita Chiles are ripe jalapeño peppers that are smoked, dried then de-stemmed. They have a unique smoky flavor and range in heat from 15,000 to 35,000 SHUs. They are usually about 1-1/2 to 3 inches long, and 1/2 to 1 inch wide, with a deep reddish-purple color.
