Cold Pressed Orange Oil (OLA001)
The peel oil, or essential oil, is located at the pericarp of the fruit, in small bags. The extraction of this oil is made by a cold process, so the product is also called Cold Pressed Oil. The extraction is made using the same machinery for juice extraction JBT extractors. The oil is taken using a water spray that produces an emulsion of 1 to 3 % oil. This emulsion water/oil is pumped to a first centrifuge that concentrates the oil mixture to 70 to 80% of oil. This one goes to a second centrifuge that will polish the product resulting 100% oil. This product is kept at low temperature
for a time necessary to separate the wax that may be present.
The product is 100% pure and natural, obtained exclusively from material of vegetable origin (Oranges of the species Citrus sinensis L. Osbeck) ripe and healthy fruit, selected and harvested at appropriate time in season, by physical process (extracting and concentrating) without addition of any additives, such as: pigments, preservatives, sugar, coloring agents, gelatin or solvents and, which preserved exclusively through physical means.
