Thread Specification Sheet Product Description – Fischbein brand sewing thread is specifically manufactured for bag closing applications that include multi-wall paper, woven and laminated woven polypropylene bags. Polyester material is impervious to UV light and ambient moisture.  Fiber 100% polyester, type HT, 1.2 denier staple.  Spun yarn composed of polyethylene terephtalate polymer. The chemical abstracts service number for the polymer is 25-038-59-9. The polymer melts at 500 degrees Fahrenheit (260 degrees Celsius).  Thread lubricant is 20% silicone. Sewing thread meets the human ecological standard of and is certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100.  Thread is certified to meet or exceed the requirements set forth in the US Toxics in Packaging Legislation (TCPH) Standards.  Denier Textile (DTEX) rating for our thread product is 250.  Thread is produced in a 12/5 format.  Thread twist is 250 twists per meter or 6.25/inch.  Tensile strength of our 12/5 format is 20 pounds.  Elongation at break pounds is 20%.  Diameter in.: 0.021
