Cranberry pomace is the material remaining after pureeing or juicing clean, sound, fresh, or frozen cranberries (Vaccinium macrocarpon). Pomae consists primarily of skins and seeds and bits of the fruit flesh. The pomace is handled and packaged in a sanitary manner.
