Product is prepared from sound, properly ripened apples that have been washed, sorted, cored, peeled, cut into segments, and dried to the specified moisture level. The prepared apple segments are properly dried to remove the greater portion of moisture to produce a semi-dry texture
Product is processed to assure clean wholesome product and complies with good manufacturing practices during production, packaging, and storage. The product is inspected throughout the process to ensure the product is in compliance with the provisions of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.
