Dried Yeast, Versity (YE01)
Dried Yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) is a product produced
by fermentation where the resulting yeast components are
separated from the fermentation substrate to produce a nonviable yeast product. It will contain high levels of many of the B
vitamins, as well as being rich in protein and essential amino
acids. It contains a minimum of 49% crude protein and is high
in many of the B vitamins. Dried yeast is great tasting and can
be used as a palatability agent in both cat and dog food diets.
For use in manufacturing of pet food. As per 21CFR §507.36, this product has not been processed to control microbial pathogens and should be
further processed to ensure compliance with Section 402(a)(1) of the FD&C Act unless microbials noted on COA.
