DWB SUGAR, WHITE FINE GRANULATED (bulk sugar)

Lantic Inc. – Montreal manufactures a variety of sugar and sugar containing products. The main ingredient or component of our products is sucrose originating from sugar cane (saccharum officinarum). There are no other ingredients with the exception of corn starch used for the production of icing sugar, silicon dioxide used in our Incredo sugar and potable water supplied by the city of Montreal for liquid products. Corn starch is an anti-caking agent used to prevent lumps formation due to surrounding moisture. A maximum of 5% can be added to our icing sugar according to the Canada Food and Drug Regulation. Silicon dioxide is used in the preparation of Incredo sugar to a maximum of 0.18% of the final product. All our packaging lines are dedicated to a single product to prevent any possibilities of cross contamination with any other products. In addition, GMP training sessions are given regularly to raise employees’ awareness regarding risks of cross contamination.
