Fibersol-2L Non-GMO (013455)

Fibersol®-2L Non-GMO, soluble corn fiber, is a liquid version of Fibersol-2 Non-GMO for bulk handling and ease of incorporation. Fibersol is produced from cornstarch but is not digested in the same manner as cornstarch. Instead, it is fermented by microflora in the colon. Fibersol®-2L Non-GMO, as a resistant maltodextrin, is included on the FDA’s list of non-digestible carbohydrates that meet the definition of dietary fiber. Fiber content is measured by AOAC Official Method 2001.03. Fibersol®-2L Non-GMO is GRAS as maltodextrin, heat and acid stable and clear in solution. With no inherent flavor of its own, Fibersol-2L Non-GMO is a functional ingredient that is used in a wide variety of foods and beverages, and, when consumed, is physiologically beneficial.
