Allergen Control policy Purpose: Inform employees of all allergens that may contaminate our products and pose a food safety risk to our clients. Explain the importance of our preventive measures put in place to manage this risk. Declaration of Allergens: The surfaces of our products do not contain components or derivatives of allergens, such as those covered by the 2004 Act on Food Allergen Labelling and consumer protection, and Annex III-A of Directive 2000/13/EC of the European Parliament, as amended by Directives 2006 / 142EC and 2003 / E9 / EC). Food allergens consist of: peanuts, nuts, eggs, milk, wheat, soybeans, fish, shellfish, celery, mustard, sesame seeds, molluscs, and lupin, as well as sulfur dioxide and sulfites. In order to reduce the risk of allergic cross-contamination, we do not buy raw materials or treatment additives that contain any of the allergens listed above. Preventive Measures  The suppliers filling the vending machines in the cafeteria have been informed that they are not allowed to put products containing peanuts in the machines. During our monthly checks, we visually inspect the vending machines to check if any of the snacks sold contain peanuts.  In order to avoid any cross-contamination of the workstations, employees are required to wash their hands after each meal. - Taken from Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)  With the exception of water, food and beverages are prohibited in manufacturing and storage areas to ensure that raw materials, products under construction, and final products are not contaminated. Supplier Approval Each new supplier is evaluated before being placed on our list of approved suppliers. Suppliers must fill out a quality control and food safety questionnaire.
