The US allergens included in the TC Huntley allergen program are identified as: sesame, dairy, soy, eggs, peanuts, wheat, tree nuts, shellfish and fish.
Cross contamination from an allergen to food contact packaging is controlled by GMPs. Employees are trained during annual Food Safety training and via the GMP Policy concerning cross contamination and appropriate mitigation.
Exclusion of allergens is our goal. New ingredients and processing aids will be evaluated for allergen content prior to use. In addition, we conduct an annual survey of our process and plant to evaluate our ongoing performance in terms of allergen usage.
