Frozen Orange Pulp (720-03, 721-03)

Valencia or Early-Mid orange pulp cells contain mostly intact juice sacs and “free run” juice, which have been stabilized to reduce enzymatic and microbiological activity. Whole pulp cells contain a significant percentage of floating pulp. Only sound and mature Valencia and/or Early-Mid oranges (Citrus sinensis) were used for the production of orange pulp cells, without addition of pulp cells from other species or GMO species. The fruit used was properly washed, graded to remove unwholesome fruit, and sanitized prior to processing. The Orange Pulp Cells comply with the recommendations of the FAO/WHO Joint Expert Committee on Food Additives (JECFA), the FAO/WHO Joint Meeting on Pesticide Residues (JMPR), the specifications from the Codex Alimentarius Commission, and any other requirements defined by local food regulations, consistent with its intended use.
