GAIN TT 150 (GAIN TT 150)

GAIN TT 150 is a proprietary boiler treatment featuring Purified Tannin. It is a liquid blend designed to provide corrosion and deposit control for the preboiler and boiler surfaces. Its corrosion protection starts by chemically scavenging the low level of oxygen remaining in the feedwater after deaeration. Purified Tannin adsorbs on mild steel surfaces forming a protective layer of iron-tannate from the feedwater storage area into the boiler. This protective layer is robust and stable enough for harsh conditions, but does not impede heat transfer. The GAIN TT 150 blend also provides deposit control that starts outside of the boiler by complexing low levels of hardness and metal ions in the feedwater. It provides effective deposition control inside the boiler by inhibition and dispersion of hardness salts and metal oxides. GAIN TT 150 has the ability to de-scale old boiler deposits on-line and to return boiler efficiency.
