Yellow Peas (Yellow Peas)

Of the major food allergens: milk, eggs, fish, Crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soybeans and mustard; only wheat, soybeans and mustard is of any risk of having been in contact with the pulses supplied by Viterra. Barley, buckwheat, corn, oats, rye, sunflowers may also be present as dockage but within specification. The Viterra Pulse facility in Minot, ND, is dedicated to processing only pulses. There is no risk of cross contamination within our facility. Wheat seeds, soybeans, mustard and other crops may be present in the raw material due to crop rotations and on-farm practices (present as dockage). Grades are applied according to Canadian/US Grading Standards and/or customer specifications. Pulses are dry cleaned (over sieves and screens) prior to shipment, processes intended to remove dockage, but trace amounts may still be present. We cannot guarantee that our products are 100% free from all traces of wheat, soybeans, mustard or other crop production in the final product. To minimize the risk, farmers are asked to use certified seed, to observe appropriate crop rotations and to clean out planting and harvesting equipment.
