ORGANIC NFC LEMON JUICE (PTS 080)

CITROMAX S.A.C.I. Certifies that the Lemon NFC supplied, belongs to Citrus Lemon, L Burmann (Rutaceae Family). The juice is obtained from the fruit by mechanical processes and Pasteurized under Thermal Treatment. The product does not contain any food additive, nor sugars or any other substances, that might modify its composition; and is made from 100% natural juice. This product can be labelled as Natural, according to FDA´s definition to mean that nothing artificial or synthetic has been included in or has been added to a food that would not normally be expected to be in that food. This product also meets the Food Standard Agency (FSA-UK) Criteria for the use of the term fresh, pure, natural etc. in food labelling, Article 55 a), issued in July 2008. Finally, the mentioned product meets the definition of Natural provided by the Guidance Note N° 29 “The use of Food Marketing terms”, issued by the Food Safety Authority Ireland. These compliances also help to state that the use of the term Natural for Lemon Juice, is in harmony with Regulations 1169/2001 art 7.1 c) where informative practices must be loyal to avoid misleading, and 178/2002 Art 16 where also states that the information should not induce consumer misinterpretation.
