Tea tree oil is steam distilled from the leaves and terminal twigs from this small tree. The tree grows up to 5-7m in height and can be harvested annually. The oil is a pale – yellowish / green to almost clear color with a warm spicy aromatic odor. The therapeutic actions of tea tree have been well documented.
