AccelFlex™ TS 860 Plant-Based Bacon Bits are a flavored textured vegetable protein made from soy flour. Formulated to resemble crispy cooked bacon bits in flavor, aroma, texture and color. They are a shelf-stable flavorful ingredient suitable for a wide range of applications in a multitude of food systems. The unique structure of AccelFlex™ TS 860 enables it to hydrate and retain moisture in rigorous processing and cooking environments or to use “as is” (unhydrated). AccelFlex™ TS 860 has been processed to control microbial hazards. Suitability is at the discretion of the customer and dependent on application.
