ALLERGEN POLICY Tombe Tea Factory Company Limited is committed to controlling the use, within the factory premises, of all kinds of food items that may contribute to the introduction & contamination of the final product by allergens. Types of food items thus prohibited include; 1) Wheat & its products 2) Celery & products thereof 3) Cereals containing gluten including barley, oat, rye, semolina & club wheat. 4) Crustaceans & products 5) Eggs 6) Fish & associated products 7) Latex & products thereof 8) Milk & associated products including lactose 9) Mustard & associated products 10) Sesame seeds & associated products 11) Soybeans & associated products 12) Pea-nuts, Tree-nuts & Ground-nuts i.e. Almonds, Bush-nuts, Butter-nut, Cashe-nuts, Chest-nuts, Coconut, Hazel-nuts, Heart-nut, Macadamia-nuts, Pine-nut, Pinon-nut, Pili-nut, Wal-nuts & associated products. Additionally, milk is only allowed in the offices for preparation of drinking tea & strict controls shall be put in place to prevent any form of contamination to the final product.
