Seeds Poppy 50# (KC1920)

Alcaliber S.A.U., at its facility in Albacete (Spain), manufactures poppy seeds as a food ingredient for human consumption. Poppy seeds are the only product manufactured in the facility, so there’s no chance of cross contamination with any other product, including the major allergens of the following list: · Cereals containing gluten · Eggs and products thereof · Peanuts and products thereof · Soybeans and products thereof · Nuts and products thereof · Celery and products thereof · Mustard and products thereof · Sesame seeds and products thereof · Sulphur dioxide and sulphites · Crustaceans and products thereof · Fish and products thereof · Milk and products thereof · Lupin and products thereof · Molluscs and products thereof Regarding the possibility of cross-contamination in the field, the production process consists in removing any body that is not a poppy seed (sieves, meshes, air suctions, etc.); the particle size of the poppy seeds allow the elimination of almost any other seed, grain and even dust, in case an unlikely contamination were to happen regardless our GAP and suppliers control program. Also, there are measures in place to avoid cross-contamination from the employees, such as the use of gowns during lunch-breaks or the prohibition of eating or carrying food in the production areas
