Liquid Nitrogen (NI BLK)

Airgas USA, LLC (Airgas) is currently supplying your company with liquid nitrogen (the “Product”). Your company has requested that Airgas provide it with information regarding the process by which the Product is produced and nutritional information (based on 100 grams of the Product). The process by which the Product is manufactured by Airgas is as follows: 1. Nitrogen, A NATURALLY-OCCURRING GAS THAT IS PART OF THE EARTH’S ATMOSPHERE, is an inorganic non-synthetic substance produced by a fractional distillation process that uses atmospheric air as the sole raw material. 2. No nutrients, including but not limited to fats, carbohydrates, and proteins, are intentionally added during the liquefied air distillation process. Based upon knowledge of the manufacturing process, Airgas expects the Product to have no intrinsic nutritional value and no caloric value. Consequently, Airgas does not specifically perform nutritional analysis of the Product. Airgas is providing this letter to your company with the understanding that it is your company’s or customer’s responsibility, to assure that the intended use of the Product complies with the Federal Food Drug and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act), the Nutritional Labeling and Education Act (NLEA) and other applicable laws including but not limited to the Meat and Poultry Product Inspection Acts. Airgas makes no warranty of any kind herein, express or implied, including without limitation, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Airgas also expressly disclaims liability and responsibility for loss or damage resulting from the use of this information.
