CMC A-4060 (765235)
CMC A-4060 is a water-soluble modified cellulose known as sodium carboxymethylcellulose.
Because it is cold soluble care should be taken when added to avoid lumps. CMC A-4060 is
intended for food applications, where clarity is desired along with thickening and suspending
properties.
CMC A-4060 meets the standards established by the U.S. code of Federal Regulations, Title 21,
Section 182.1745 and is considered G.R.A.S.
