Old English Hi-Melt Pasteurized Process Cheddar Cheese 1/8" Shreds have a yellow color and a sharp cheddar flavor. The cheese has a live body and a slightly open texture. This product has restricted melting properties, meaning that the cheese will retain its identity in medium to high heat. This makes it ideal for microwaveable and fryable applications. The cheese is shredded and approximate shred size is 1/8" x 1/8" x 1/2 - 1 1/2". The source of artificial color is apocarotenal.
