5.0 Pesticide Residue
The list below only includes substances listed in Codex Pesticides Residues in Food Online Database for PINEAPPLE.
This database contains Codex Maximum Residue Limits for Pesticides and Extraneous Maximum Residue Limits adopted by the Codex Alimentarius Commission up to and including its 42nd Session (July 2019) . However, pesticide MRL reflected below is based on the lowest set MRL between Codex and EU Pesticides Database. Pesticide MRL stated in 40 CFR Part 180 may be used as reference if Codex MRLs are not set.
All pesticide active ingredient used in the raw material shall be declared by manufacturer/supplier. Pesticide residue analysis must be submitted by supplier/manufacturer.
For pesticides not listed below but declared/used by supplier/manufacturer, MRLs set from available regulation shall apply.
For pesticides listed below but not declared/used by supplier/manufacturer, specific pesticide shall be noted on the CONFORME section for
it to be excluded in the ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA or a Certificate of NON-USE specifying the identity of the substance(s) must be provided.
For Plant-derived raw materials that is not directly consumed as food and undergoes multi-stage processing, suppliers may submit a certificate of analysis showing conformance on MRL of below listed pesticides and/or submit a certification/statement stating likelihood of the presence of below listed substances.
