Anhyrous Milk Fat / Clarified Butter Fat (AMF - 9440)

Milk Fat AMF/Clarified Butter is manufactured from cream and/or butter derived from cow’s milk, which possesses a flavor quality comparable to the requirements for U.S. Grade AA, or U.S. Grade A Butter. Allergen Control Statement Grassland Dairy Products, Inc., Greenwood Milk Products, West Point Dairy Products, LLC, West Point Dairy Products d/b/a Alcam Creamery and Graf Creamery, Inc. wholly known as or referred to as Grassland Dairy for the purpose of this document, manufacture dairy products. All of these products contain dairy ingredients and therefore milk protein. Milk or cream is an ingredient in all finished products produced at our facilities. Special attention on awareness regarding peanut and tree nut allergens is acknowledged by employees following training sessions. As a part of this awareness, employees are specifically instructed to change into a clean uniform in the event a peanut-tree nut substance has rubbed or smeared either directly or indirectly onto their uniform. This applies only to peanuts/tree nuts that may be present in the lunchroom area. Grassland Dairy manufacturing facilities do not process or store any ingredients that contain known allergens other than Milk. In the event that a new item is added to our product lines, an assessment is done on all ingredients used in that product. If there are any known allergens present in the ingredients of the new item, steps will be taken to schedule allergen-containing products at the end of a run sequence followed by an allergen clean up. Procedures for an allergen clean up would be developed based on the ingredient and its corresponding allergen.
