BENEO ProtiGreen markets under the brand name BeneoPro FB a range of single-food ingredients derived from faba beans. The faba beans are de-hulled and dry milled, resulting in the product faba bean flour. Depending on the product type, a final dry fractionation by air classification can be applied and some types additionally receive a heat treatment to obtain enriched milling fractions with specific composition and nutritional properties (see respective Product Sheets).
