Pitted prunes are prepared from mature, fresh prune plums which have been washed, tunnel-dried, pitted and sorbate. The product is inspected throughout the process to assure conformance to good manufacturing practices yielding a clean, wholesome product which meets all standards for human consumption and Federal regulations.
