Decanox® MTS-90 mixed tocopherols is a natural antioxidant product used in food, animal feed, and industrial applications to delay the onset of rancidity in fats and oils and extend shelf life. It is a brownish-red, viscous oil having a slight, characteristically vegetable oil aroma and mild taste. May oxidize upon exposure to air and light, resulting in gradual darkening. Nitro gen blanketing and protection from light, heat, contact with transition metals and alkalis are recommended. Decanox® MTS-90 is a concentrated form of natural mixed tocopherols derived from edible vegetable oils. Soluble in ethanol, ether, acetone, facts and vegetable oils. Insoluble in water. Decanox® MTS-90 mixed tocopherols meets USP/NF (Tocopherols Excipient) and FCC (RRR-tocopherols concentrate, mixed, low alpha) specifications.
