Product is prepared from sound, properly ripened apples that have been washed, sorted, cored, peeled, cut into segments, and dried to the specified moisture level, and then ground.
Product is processed to assure clean wholesome product and complies with good manufacturing practices during production, packaging, and storage. The product is inspected throughout the process to ensure the product is in compliance with the provisions of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.
