Organic Tamarind Paste/Concentrate (SP-PST-50)

Organic Tamarind paste obtained from a sour, dark, sticky fruit that grows in a pod on a tamarind (Tamarindus indica) tree. While some cuisines use tamarind paste to make desserts and even candy, in Thai cooking it is used mostly in savory dishes. The material shall also be Brown in color. The material shall have a characteristic taste and smell and shall be free from insect and fungus infestation, rodent contamination, dirt, and other extraneous matter.
