CHERRIES, RAINIER (F57)

CHERRIES, RAINIER product image
Rainier Cherries are a hybrid, a cross between the Bing and Van cultivars, bred in 1952 at Washington State University. Developers of the cherry named it after Mount Rainier, a landmark in Washington State. With superior taste and superb flavor, Rainier Cherries are considered "the cream of the crop." We source U.S.-grown Rainier Cherries with distinctive yellow-and-reddish-orange fruit and dry it to brownish red with sweet flavor for our Rainier Cherries. • Rainier Cherries are larger and much sweeter than tart cherries, but not as sweet as Bing Cherries when dried • Tender texture is almost creamy • These cherries are highly prized in the Pacific Northwest for their superb flavor • Most Rainier Cherries are grown in Washington and Oregon • Good source of vitamin C and high in fiber
Cherries. Cherries are a natural product and may contain an occasional pit.
