All Blueberry Juices/Concentrates are made form 100% Blueberries. Processing and filtering aids are required to clarify all blueberry juices and concentrates. These include up to 0.045% of an NOP pectinase, up to 0.045% of an NOP amylase and up to 2.5% filter aid. Enzymes are added to the mash to remove the natural fruit pectin and starches in the fruit. Since the enzymes are NOP, they do not contain any GMOs. All Enzymes are deactivated by the heat of pasteurization and the heat of evaporation used to produce a high brix concentrate. After being decanted, only the juice is sent forward to be filtered, where the filter aid is filtered out.
