This is to certify that Associated Milk Producers Inc. (AMPI) produces and packages these products at the above location. The cows that produce the milk for these products are regularly examined by certified Doctors of Veterinarian Medicine to assure that all vaccinations are routinely given for the sole purpose of protecting the milking cows from disease. These measures assure that the milk used meets all of the strict guidelines set forth by the respective AMPI specifications, and the federal and state regulatory agencies.
In the country of origin, the United States of America, there are animal health regulations that forbid the feeding of ruminant origin meat and bone meal to ruminant animals, and the animals from which these products were obtained were not fed ruminant origin meat and bone meal.
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (WDATCP) is the governmental agency responsible for the licensing and inspection of this plant. The Department has certified that Associated Milk Producers Inc., Jim Falls, WI does operate a cheese and whey manufacturing establishment that is inspected at regular intervals by full-time examiners employed by the state of Wisconsin. Furthermore, the Department certifies that every particle of milk used in the manufacture of these products is passed through a high-temperature-short-time pasteurizer unit that is calibrated and sealed to meet the minimum time and temperature settings required by the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance to achieve the minimum legal requirements for full pasteurization 161.5º F (72º C) for 15 seconds. Additionally, sweet whey used to manufacture the AMPI sweet whey powder and condensed sweet whey is passed through a second state-timed and sealed pasteurizer unit as a part of its manufacturing process.
It is further certified that the plant, equipment, raw materials, processing and packaging procedures meet with all applicable United States and Wisconsin food quality requirements and that all dairy products produced at this facility are derived from healthy animals free of disease. All products manufactured at these facilities can be readily identified by the plant number and code affixed to each package, are fit for human consumption, and are freely sold throughout the United States of America.
I certify that the above statements are true to the best of my knowledge and belief.
