Liquid Shio Koji (Liquid Shio Koji)
Liquid Shio Koji is a unique preparation of the traditional Japanese seasoning Shio Koji. The producer, Hanamaruki, places shio koji in a sake bag and presses it, yielding an enzyme rich liquid that has myriad uses. It can be used as a tenderizer or to add umami to any number of foods.
