ORGANIC FIG PASTE (280-1051)

The variety of Turkish sun dried figs is Ficus carica and called as "Sarılop" .The origin of this fruit is Aydın which is a certain area in Aegean Region in Turkey. Because of the climate of this area, figs have thin skin and high honey content which are differentiating characteristics from other varieties.Organic fig paste is prepared from certified organic figs which are shock frozen before processing.Fig paste is prepared from the figs of which all moldy and spoilt ones are removed before processing.Organic dried figs are firstly selected on belts, then washed. Products passes through double x-ray scanner along the washing line. After crushing selected once more on belts under UV lights to remove the fruits contaminated by aflatoxin. Then they are pasted and all seeds are crushed (or no seed crushing is applied depending on the customer request), then the products are passed through an x-ray scanner.
