HYPERION 215 PETROLATUM USP API (6910)
Hyperion® 215 API is a proprietary blend of hydrotreated, long-chain, nonpolar hydrocarbons and fully refined microcrystalline and paraffin waxes which imparts exceptional emollient properties along with excellent sensory properties. Odorless and tasteless, Hyperion® 215 API may be used in cosmetic and pharmaceutical applications where color is critical. This product meets FDA CFR Title 21 sections 172.880, 178.3700 and 573.720 requirements. Hyperion® 215 API meets the criteria for White Petrolatum as set forth in the United States Pharmacopeia. This product may be used as an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API).
When stored in its original, unopened container at 60-80°F, this product has an unlimited shelf life. Avoid exposure to extremely high or low temperatures. It is advisable to retest functional parameters after 2 years.
