Sea Clam Tongues (Fresh Tongues)

Fresh, wholesome Sea Clams (Atlantic Surfclams, Spisula solidissima) are grown and harvested from government approved waters governed by Federal and State Authorities. Fresh sea clams (tongue portion only) are mechanically shucked, eviscerated to remove belly from the cavity, inspected, washed, inspected, chilled, and packed in approved clean, sanitary, food-safe insulated bullpens and lids with poly-bag liners. Overall quality must be in compliance with Sea Watch raw material physical requirements. Product is packed under Sea Watch International, LTD.'s HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) Program which is in compliance, in all aspects, with the Food and Drug Administration's Seafood Processing Regulations codified at Title 21 Code of Federal Regulations (21CFR) Part 123 and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) for foods (21CFR) Parts 110 and 117.
