SPEARMINT LEAVES (SPEA)

Spearmint (Mentha spicata, L.), native to Mediterranean countries, shall be green in color and shall have a fresh aroma, somewhat sickly sweet, and minty, balsamic and typically spearmint. The flavor is sharp, pleasantly pungent, herbaceous, sweet, and minty. Spearmint’s odor and taste is similar to that of peppermint but to a lesser degree, no cooling effect. This is commercially produced in Egypt.
