BROCCOLI FLORETS-1-1/4 (903000003333)
Broccoli florets obtained from the upper stalks of the broccoli plant (Brassica oleracea) . The broccoli florets are cut into 1-1/4" lengths then rinsed, washed, sorted, blanched, cooled, drained and IQF.
The florets are blanched for a time to inactivate peroxidase enzymes. Immediately after blanching, the broccoli must be cooled, and frozen in accordance with good manufacturing practices.
The broccoli not derived from genetically engineered materials, is derived entirely from materials developed according to conventional plant breeding methods. The product listed above does not contain any other ingredients additives, or processing aids. In addition, this certifies that care was taken to avoid GMO/GEO contamination in all operations including planting, harvest, storage and transportation.
