ProGuard GRAS (Corrosion Inhibitor ProGuard GRAS)

ProGuard is a concentrated industrial corrosion inhibitor product that is typically used to boost corrosion inhibitor levels in GRAS heat transfer fluids, such as OneGuard and other similar products. While ProGuard is not an antifreeze, it is compatible with both propylene and ethylene glycol antifreezes without inhibitors or those similar corrosion inhibitor packages. This product not only stabilizes system fluid pH but also offers corrosion protection to typical metallic and non-metallic components used in hydronic systems that contain multi-metals among them cast iron, stainless, carbon and mild steel. ProGuard is ‘Generally Recognized As Safe’ courtesy of the low toxicity profiles (essentially non-toxic) of its components. As such, it may be registered with the NSF under category code HTX-1
