Frozen Shrimp Toast Bao Bun with Boom Boom Sauce (EVR-S05C2.25)
A soft white wheat flour bao bun, steamed before being filled with a separately steamed mixture of ASC-certified, non-treated shrimp, diced water chestnuts, scallions, fresh ginger and sesame oil.
The filled bao is then rolled in a blend of black and white sesame seeds, pre-fried for 30 seconds, frozen, and packaged with a 2 oz sachet of Boom Boom Sauce.
Filling (50%): Shrimp (Crustacean Shellfish) (Penaeus vannamei) (17.8%), Water Chestnut, Water, Potato Starch, Spring Onion, White Sesame Seeds, Sesame Oil, Refined Soybean Oil, Sugar, Wheat Flour, Black Sesame Seeds, Ginger, Salt, Yeast Extract, Garlic Powder.
White Bao Bun (50%): Wheat Flour, Water, Sugar, Refined Soybean Oil, Corn Starch, Sesame Oil, Tapioca Starch, Baking Powder (E500, E450), Yeast, Salt.
Refined Soybean Oil: for frying, replace water during frying step (about 7%).
Boom Boom Sauce: Sugar Solution, Refined Soybean Oil, Water, Salted Chilli, Vinegar, Salt, Garlic Puree, Modified Starches [corn-hydroxypropyl distarch phosphate (E1442), tapioca-starch sodium octenyl succinate (E1450)], Preservatives [potassium sorbate (E202), sodium benzoate (E211)], Thickener [xanthan gum (E415)], Spice Extract (capsicum), Colour [paparika oleoresin (E160c)], Natural Flavouring, Sequestrant (E385).
