Avox™ 22 food grade antioxidant contains butylated hydroxyanisole, tert-butylhydroquinone, and citric acid in a proprietary carrier blend. Avox™ 22 is soluble in fats and oils and demonstrates high efficacy in vegetable oils and baked goods. Avox™ 22 is manufactured in conformity with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). It meets all FDA requirements with respect to food grade and is certified Kosher Pareve and Halal.
When stored in its original, unopened container between 30-95°F, this product has a recommended shelf-life of 9 months. Avoid exposure to extremely high or low temperatures. Low temperatures will cause separation. It is advisable to retest functional parameters after 9 months to determine suitability of use.
