Fresh green onion refers to the product obtained from clean selected green onion that is free from any insect, bruised, rot or decay or sign of molds. Green onion is also known as scallion. It is harvested very young from the regular bulb-forming onion or from other variety that actually never form bulbs. It is long and bright white at the bottom and dark green tops.
