CHIPOTLE CHILES, MORITA (C02)
Chipotle Morita Chiles are jalapeño chiles that are smoked then dried. They have a unique, medium-hot, smoky flavor that is popular in many Southwestern dishes. They range in heat from 12,000 to 26,000 SHUs, are about 1-1/2 to 3 inches long, 1/2 to 1 inch wide and have a deep reddish-purple color.
