The successful application of Food Safety Allergen Policy requires the full commitment and involvement of farmers, management and employees. Therefore, Theta Tea Factory Company Limited is committed to ensure; 1. Training of farmers on good agricultural and manufacturing practices (allergen management) 2. That all employees are provided with suitable and sufficient information, training and equipment necessary to do their job hygienically and in a manner that complies with legislative requirements. 3. That employees understand the importance and comply with the company’s overall food safety management system that incorporates the Food Safety Policy, H.A.C.C.P. plan, Allergen Policy and associated supporting verifiable documentation. 4. Prohibiting chewing of nuts while harvesting of tea or in the production areas. 5. Ensuring meals are not taken while plucking tea or during processing 6.
