MEDIUM GRAIN WHITE RICE 20kg (150711)

Medium Grain rice is produced from milling medium grain varieties of medium grain brown rice. This involves destoning, milling by removing the outer bran layer, running through in-process magnets, screens, optic sorter and metal detector. Due to the lower amylose and higher amylopectin content, medium grain rice kernels when cooked, tend to cling together more than long grain varieties. All processes employed in manufacturing this product are in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices, under sanitary conditions.
