Medium Shells (7012)
A heavy medium ridged, shell-shaped enriched macaroni, products prepared by extruding and drying units of dough made from durum wheat semolina and water. It shall possess a characteristic nut like flavor typical of durum wheat. Every product manufactured in the facility is processed, packaged and stored in accordance with Federal Standards of Identity (Title 21 CFR, Part 139, Secs. 139.110-139.180) and Good Manufacturing Practices. The products shall not be adulterated or misbranded within the meaning of the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act.
