Old English Hi-Melt Pasteurized Process Cheddar Cheese Shreds have a yellow color and a sharp cheddar flavor. The cheese has a live body and a slightly open texture. this product has restricted melting properties, meaning that the cheese will retain its identity in medium to high heat. This makes it ideal for microwaveable and fryable applications. This cheese is V shredded and the approximate shred size is 7/64" x 7/64" x 1/2 - 1-1/2". This product contains an increased amount of anticake.
