ALLERGEN STATEMENT Only Maple Syrup and Honey are processed in this plant. Processing areas are separated, and equipment is designated for either Honey or Maple Syrup. Honey is a wholesome product created in a natural process by honeybees from the nectar of various flowers. Honey, when not fully processed, may contain residual proteins containing pollen from the plants the bees visited. Proteins are associated with most true food allergies, and are found in foods such as peanuts, shellfish, dairy products, and eggs. Honey itself contains very little protein. The major components of honey are simple sugars. Maple Syrup is a wholesome product created in a natural process by boiling the sap of maple trees. Maple Syrup itself contains no protein. The major components of Maple Syrup are simple sugars. Allergic reactions stemming from the consumption of Maple Syrup and Honey are very uncommon. The warehouse, production floor, and products are free from milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat (including triticale), soy, sesame, mustard, and sulfite ingredients. Only honey and maple syrup are stored and processed at our facility.
